A strong gold quotation!
No, this is not a gold price prediction, just a quotation about gold from analyst Daryl Schoon from 5/3/10. He said this:
Without gold, paper currencies are only coupons with expiration dates written in invisible ink.
I agree with that. By the way, if you think that we cannot have a runaway inflationary event here in the U.S., you are wrong. First of all, it has already happened here TWICE. First in 1781 and then again in 1865. In fact, our first president, George Washington is well known for having said this in April of 1779:
“A wagon load of money will scarcely purchase a wagon load of provisions”.
This is why our Founding Fathers had our currency be of one of two forms. A gold coin or a silver coin – nothing else. Take some advice our Founding Fathers provided: buy gold, buy silver!
