EXPRESS MAIL RETURN SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS

Please obtain a large Express Mail box and shipping label from your local post office FREE of charge.

You must place your metals in a small box and then place the small box in the large express mail box. Secure the small box with newspaper or similar material and close and tape the large express package securely.  Please include your full name, Lear account number, address and telephone number inside the large box.  Not including this information could delay processing time considerably.

• Each Express Mail box should contain a maximum of $50,000 in value for insurance purposes.  Please send metals in more than one package if necessary.
• You DO NOT need to insure the package with the United States Postal Service.
• DO NOT give any indication as to the value or contents of package to the Postal Service.  If packed and addressed correctly, it is fully covered.

When returning the metal, place it back into the small box that your metals were delivered to you in or any box that the coins fit into comfortably. The box needs to be taped with "brown packing tape" (Do not use glossy tape. The post office needs to stamp the box and glossy will not be accepted.) THIS IS IMPORTANT: You need to include your Full Name, Lear account number, address and telephone number inside the box. Not including your personal information could delay our processing time substantially.

Each package can be insured for a maximum of $25,000.00 by the postal service. (Any amount over $25,000 and up to $100,000 will be covered by Lear's insurance policy. You need to insure the package for its current value but ONLY up to the $25,000 allowed by the postal service! Lear Capital's insurance will cover up to $100,000 after that. If you package is valued over $100,000, please send the metals in individual packages that do not exceed the $100,000 limit. The label needs to be filled out as stated below for insurance to be covered completely.)
