New Jersey
This state is situated between the states of Pennsylvania and New York, so it's often thought of as a large bedroom community. Many of its residents commute to their professions in the Big Apple or the City of Brotherly Love. Despite its small size, New Jersey has the highest population density of any state, as well as the third-highest median household income. This is partly due to the fact that New Jersey has the largest individual state percentage of millionaire families in the United States.
